Whether you are travelling, at work or at home, knowing how to provide assistance can make all the difference.

As a mobility and assistance partner, the ACL is committed to raising awareness among its members and training them to act quickly and safely in critical situations. Training in life-saving techniques is not only a civic duty, but also a means of increasing everyone’s safety.

The ‘ACL Académie’ offers several training courses tailored to the needs of each individual.

• Basic First Aid Course (16 hrs): A comprehensive training course to learn how to respond to the most common emergencies.
• First aid for babies (2 hrs): A specialised introduction to learning how to respond to an incident involving an infant or young child.
• First aid for motorcyclists (8 hrs): This training course, specially tailored to two-wheelers, prepares you to respond quickly and efficiently in the event of a motorcycle accident.
• How to Act Safely as a Layperson at a Serious Road Traffic Accident (3 hrs): Medical doctor and certified first aid instructor ·· Practical training. During this course, participants practise how to act safely as first responders in a realistic car accident scenario. Topics include personal safety, securing the accident scene, calling emergency services, controlling severe bleeding, opening the airways, the recovery position, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The course also covers when an injured person needs to be removed from a vehicle and when a motorcyclist’s helmet should be removed. The training follows the 2025 European Resuscitation Council (ERC) guidelines and is aimed at laypeople with no prior knowledge or experience. “Taking action is better than being perfect.”

For appointments where Luxembourgish is specified, our trainer can also adapt to French and German.
